On Thursday the stabbing of a 30 year old woman by the hands of a local 44 year old man took place in North Yorkshire in Aldi. Although the incident caused mass panic within the store, a few brave staff members and shoppers were able to detain the suspect before the police had arrived.
Unfortunately, although parametics tried to save her, 30 minutes after she passed away. Investigations are still occurring and the family is receiving a lot of support from friends and the police officers.
As to why the woman was attacked is currently unknown, but it's sad to see another life lost to that of knife crime.
